- Who is collecting. The person must be the guest named on the booking or an authorised driver written in the rental agreement.
- Licence. Motorbike: home licence plus IDP with the motorcycle category (A), or Indonesian SIM C. Car: home licence plus IDP category B, or SIM A. If the documents are missing or invalid, or the guest seems intoxicated, you may refuse to hand over the vehicle. See the Licence and IDP Guide.
- Do not keep the passport. Look at the document and note what the agreement needs. Never keep a passport or any original ID as security.
- Condition. Photograph or film every side, any scratches, the odometer, the fuel level, helmets or life jackets and accessories together with the guest. Send the photos on WhatsApp so both sides have a copy.
- Safety gear. Hand over the number of SNI helmets stated in the listing. For boats, life jackets for every passenger.
- Deposit and payment. Collect the payment and any deposit exactly as stated in the listing and confirmation. Do not change the terms.
- Agreement. Go through the rental agreement and ask the guest to accept it.
- Mark the status on the Platform: Picked up.
