Become a partner

Rent out your boats, motorbikes and cars (and soon villas, equipment and aircraft) to travellers who find you on Sewa Rent. Listing is free. Guests send free booking requests and pay you directly at pickup.

From sign-up to your first request

1. Create your account. Your name, e-mail and a password: the same account you use to book. When you add your first listing, we ask for your WhatsApp number and a tick to accept the Owner Partner Agreement. It takes a minute.
2. Add your listing from your phone. A step-by-step form: type, title and area, photos straight from your camera (at least 5), details, price in IDR, deposit and cancellation terms, pickup place. It saves as you go, so you can stop and continue later. Most owners finish in about 10 minutes.
3. Quick check by our team. An operator looks at your listing, usually within one working day, and may message you on WhatsApp if something is unclear. If something needs changing, you get an e-mail with the reason and fix it in the same form.
4. You are live. Guests can find your listing and send you requests. You confirm or decline each one.

How bookings and money work

• Guests send a free request with their dates, pickup place and a message. Nobody pays online.
• You confirm or decline within 24 hours (12 hours if pickup is less than 48 hours away).
• Contact details stay private until you confirm. Then you and the guest see each other’s WhatsApp number.
• The guest pays you the full price at pickup, in cash or as you agree together.
• Our commission is 20 percent of the rental price, only on completed bookings, settled directly with us. Listing and requests are free.

Who can join

Anyone who rents out safe, legal items in our regions: private owners and rental businesses. We start in Bali; Lombok, Labuan Bajo, Sumba and Sumbawa are planned.

What our team checks

• Real, sharp photos of the item (at least 5), with no phone numbers, links or logos in the photos or the text
• The right type and category, a realistic price in IDR, honest deposit and conditions
• A clear pickup area
• A working WhatsApp number

Optional: get verified

Verification is optional and does not hold up your listing. If you want a “Verified owner” or “Verified listing” badge, our operator checks, on a WhatsApp video call or in person, the identity of the owner or representative, the vehicle registration (STNK) with current tax or the permits for a vessel or aircraft, and, if you rent out as a business, your business registration (NIB). We do not keep copies. A badge shows a limited check on a date. It is not an inspection, insurance or a guarantee. See the Risk and Liability Disclaimer.

What we expect from you

• Reply to every request within 24 hours (12 hours if pickup is less than 48 hours away, and never later than 1 hour before pickup)
• Keep your calendar accurate
• Provide SNI helmets or life jackets and keep items safe and legal
• Check guests’ licences at pickup
• Never keep a passport or original ID
• Handle guest data only for the rental
